Watertown Wizards Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League 

Tournament Team Skills Night:  This event will be held at the Watertown Fair Grounds Baseball Field, home of the Watertown Wizards on June 21 beginning at 5:00pm and run approximately 2 hours.  This event is open to all and there will be a Upstate Wood Bat Game following the evaluation.  

13-15 Babe Ruth Tournament:  The 13-15 tournament has been scheduled to begin on June 28 and will run through June 30.  Once the schedule has been created we will be sure to pass it on to everyone and we ask that you show your support of both the teams and league by attending a game or two if you can.  If you are unable to attend the event do not worry we will post regular updates to our Facebook page to keep you informed.

16-18 Committment meeting:  More information coming soon. 

Local League All-Star Game:  The Upstate Youth Baseball Association and players representing their 14 team Babe Ruth affiliates, along with players representing the 7 Upstate 18 U "Wood Bat" Division will play in a double header at the Lowville Academy and Central Schools' new "Turf Field" on wednesday evening July 11th. The Babe Ruth Game will start approximately 5:30 pm with the "Wood Bat 18 U" game to follow immediately after. Admission to the games is free, however donations will be accepted.

Players representing, Lowville, Beaver River, South Jeff ( 2 teams ), Sandy Creek, Indian River, Cape
Vincent, Harrisville, Gouveneur, Dexter, Sackets Harbor and the three City of Watertown members -
Watertown Wizards,Watertown AAMCO, and the Watertown WCBI ( Watertown Center for Business & Industry ).
will make up two squads from the North and South Babe Ruth Divisons.

Mr. Marvin Massey, coach of WCBI will lead the North and Mr. Jeff Patterson of Watn. Wizards will lead the South
Babe Ruth squads.

The 18 U, 7 team Division will split players and be divided into the EAST squad lead by Mr.Dale DeLong, coach
of Beaver River and Mr. Wayne Mattingly, coach of the Indian River team. The players from this level of play come
from teams based in Lowville, Beaver River, Sandy Creek, Indian River, Watertown Wizards, Watertown WCBI and
North Country Athletics ( IHC/Sackets )

The events main sponsor is the I.B.E.W. local 910 ( International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers ), whose business office is based in Watertown. The I.B.E.W. has contributed funds to allow the Upstate Youth baseball Association to purchase "ALLSTAR" jerseys for this event and for the " Traveling Allstars" and
"Tournament Teams".

Mr. Paul Simmons, the Associations' President and long time Babe Ruth booster will serve as Master of
Ceremonies for the evenngs activities.

The Moving Up All-Star Game:  The USYBA is working out plans to do a 9 inning moving up All-Star game to celebrate and showcase the players who will be moving out of the 13-15 Division with the ending of the current 2012 season.
